All organisations change — there is no such thing as an organisation in stasis.
Organisations are complex.
Complexity creates its own chaos.
Chaos causes flux.
Organisations are in a constant state of flux.
The uncertainty for business people is not knowing how the organisation will change over time. An organisation that fails to take control of processes to cope with change will become a victim of change. Change is normal, and to be expected in organisational life. Therefore, an organisation must be flexible, resilient, and in control of making the changes. Otherwise, the changes will be made for the organisation and inevitably they may not be the changes that are in the best interests of the organisation.
