Introduction

This program presents a dynamic new concept for business owners, managers and leaders who are looking to raise the bar to even greater heights of corporate and professional success. It is aimed at business people who are interested and enthusiastic in the direction of their organizations, promoting sound strategic thinking and improving corporate success.

  • What do I want my business to be?
  • Where should it be next year, in five years, in ten years?
  • What kind of information do I need to set successful and purposeful strategy?
  • How do I use that information?
  • Once strategy is set, how can I make sure that the strategy is used effectively to drive the organization?


Successfully managing and leading an organization takes more than a two-hour lecture or thumbing your way through a dozen articles on the subject. Four years ago I held a series of one-day seminars around Australia specifically on leadership techniques to improve individual and organizational performance. Such was the popularity and acceptance of that one-day program that I was asked to travel to Dubai and deliver that program to a room full of CEOs and executives at the Grand Hyatt.


The seminars were however limited in their scope by the constraint of a single day. The time is now right to offer a more comprehensive three-day session. I’ve written many articles, spoken at hundreds of independent conferences and seminars on the business of management and leadership. I am regularly interviewed on radio about my perspectives and approaches to establishing good leadership styles and techniques as well as other elements of business management.
 

Some consultants might be able to help you improve your business management techniques, but my intent is to help you fully understand the psychological underpinnings of successful management, leadership and overall business wisdom. Hence, I have created the Psychology of Management & Leadership Workshop. Here is what it entails, far beyond any course, program, ‘boot camp,’ or other developmental session you may have already encountered.

 

Components of the Workshop

  • Three days of intensive interaction with me and a very small group of colleagues. There will be over 20 hours of work, discussion, learning, and fun. We will enjoy some social activities, some meals, and a large amount of pragmatic work on individual issues.
  • The Psychology of Management & Leadership Workshop Manual of more than 200 pages, containing templates, forms, guides, aids, articles and slides used and discussed in the program.
  • Seven CDs from the Series One Teleconferences, covering aspects of networking, sales, fees, time management and more.
  • Individualized pre-college work to maximize your value. The preparatory work focuses on performance appraisals, motivation, conflicts, strategy, decision-making, etc.
  • Lifetime admission to the Society for Executive Wisdom, an international gathering place of professionals and entrepreneurs who discuss issues ranging from marketing to fees, and life balance to managing staff.
  • And the component that only I can provide: Inclusion in the Private Clients Mentor Program for six months. Further details are available from the web site, and there are valuable options if you are currently a member of the Private Clients Mentor Program.

 

This is a challenging experience for participants, combining intensive workshop instruction and practice, with comprehensive support materials in both print and audio formats, supported by six months mentoring.

The Psychology of Management & Leadership Workshop is something that I am extremely passionate about. But to be successful, I know that, ironically, the fewer the better. So attendance is confined to about the size of a ‘U-shaped’ table (though we may not always be in that configuration). Early registration is recommended.

Tuition

  • The College tuition includes all of the above. The three-day program, plus three breakfasts, three lunches, dinner on the first evening at one of my favourite restaurants (we will travel by stretch limousine), and six months in the Mentor Program is $5,000 + GST (Dubai UAE is US$ 2,900 for the two-day accelerated program)
  • Discounts and special pricing available for multiple delegate bookings from the one organization.
  • Current members of the Mentor Program may either extend their involvement by six months, or can deduct the fees paid in the Mentor Program from the College tuition, to a maximum of $2,500 credit.
  • Full National Members of the Society for Executive for Executive Wisdom may take a 25% discount.
  • RCSA members may take a 10% discount

Note that only one form of discount may be applied by any participant.
